Those speeds will never hold back his advancing glaciers bozo.

There's a lot to be said for the message in a bottle method, as long as you follow two simple rules.
1. It must be a single malt bottle.
2. You get to empty the bottle.

If the bottle wasn't empty, it would be alcohol abuse and that's never good.

Eds definition matches mine. I was happy to go from cable to dsl, just because I got a lot better customer service. It was worth the slower speeds, and still much faster than the old message in a bottle method.

Nice. So your script actually replaces the YAST software manager, instead of just adding SMART?

Probably to spicy for my liking, but I'm sure others will enjoy.

I was thinking it might be handy to drive thru the timber during deer season.

You're not the first I've heard make that claim. One of Dad's friends swore the same thing, now he carries it in his front shirt pocket all the time. I think the turning point was breaking down on the mail route in bad winter weather and having to walk a few miles for help.

Ah yes the lost pay phones, and the handy corner bathrooms they were placed in. The last one I knew of around here was disconnect last year. Even the old coots that swore they'd never own a cell phone, have been assimilated and decided they like them enough to carry all the time.

Re: Reduced to using the Internet.

I bet its running Linux.
For the antenna rotation we either welded a piece onto the pole or just used a good set of vise grips. Until we moved up to the fancy electric rotor, that we could stay in the dry to change. It never failed that the only time you wanted to change directions was weather related. Des Moines might not come in, but Omaha, St. Joe, or Kansas City might.

Re: Ubuntu 9.10 (beta)

Well m$ is starting to push the 64 bit operating system more. Windows Server 2008R2 is 64 bit only, and for any pc to Windows 7 certified it has to be a 64 bit processor. They will still be releasing Win7 as 32 or 64 bit though.

Well Matt you can always spend more time at the still making sure all the ingredients are mixing just right. Then there is nature watching with the hi-power. You'll need the scope for close up inspection and just in case da 30 pointer walks by.
And of course you could always go out for a cruise

I keep hearing good things about 11.2 testing. Wish I had a place to test it out. Not sure I want to trust it for daily use on my laptop while still in beta.

Welan doesn't like to share anything besides cold weather, snow, and ice. His sardines are kept in a maximum security freezer deep undergound in his igloo complex at the north pole. If you are able to penetrate his fortress though, please turn off the mondo chillers. The switch is next to the fish freezers.

I've noticed our red dots have increased considerably. Some even appear to come from out in the middle of the ocean. I'm guessing there are small islands underneath them, unless the geo locator is good enough to pick up traffic from boats.
