I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread of how to prepare for an upgrade to 11.2.
I read that after 11.2, it will be fairly simple to upgrade - but at the moment we all know that it is best to do a clean install.
So how do we go about it ?

Would be great to have in the extended How-to section a Thread on methods of Upgrade and how to best go about it. I expect oldcpu is perfecting his guide over on the official Forum for preparations but that does not preclude one here that could cover different aspects.

I thought to kick off, an addon for firefox called password exporter
I would use it just before shutting down the old system  and when I start the new system. For security reasons, I would not leave it on permanently.

A Password export option for FF sounds sweet. I took screenshots of mine since I did not know of any other method. Thanks for the tip!

Thats a howto I wish I could write, but since I'm a clean install kinda guy I've never done so.
Seems that may pose a issue in my writing such a doc.
Sorrycrying
