If you got a image that you think would make a good background for the Forum put it here it would help if the size is at least 1024 x 768. Though a smaller image could be added as perhaps a icon to a larger background. I am posting the present Background image as example.

Definite possibilities with both. The first might be idea if a left side background of a very light color is used. Not sure of the placements of the penguins in the second but might be just the thing with the white looking surf in the back of them.

Not to worry, Eberhard. After a exhaustive sociological study just released, no one reads much anymore. Except while driving on the Freeways at enormous rates of speed. Consider the recent Theme as a means of "Thinning the Hurd".
Ok, "Thinning the Hurd", that explains something. But, ... why on earth did you replace linux by hurd, and I thought it wasn't ready yet anyways, being planned for next year?
