How often do you change your desktop?  Like backgrounds, docks, widget, gidgets, and other doohickeys that make for cool eye.

What say you?

Missing option:
When the time is at hand and destiny calls...

so I just picked monthly. Though waiting for the full moon to provide proper incentive and light to see the monitor by.

Almost never. I made a clean environment with two desktops with two very different wallpapers. I think the last change was about two years ago when I changed one of the wallpapers.

And as a reinstall/update (to a next openSUSE level) should give continuity at the first place, it would be the worst time to change the desktop. The update first has two prove that it can behave the same as before!

Another option not given, so I voted monthly.

"Whenever I get a new, cute picture of my granddaughter"

smile

As for changing widgets, etc., almost never. When I install/reinstall, I change the location of the taskbar, the shortcuts shown in it, the kicker, take the icons off the desktop (they obstruct the view of my granddaughter smile, and such to how I prefer it, and then rarely change.

Well, seeing that I really like my dark scheme and I can't find another wallpaper that suites me, I'll be using the samething till the end of the next ice age...or longer.
