I've been learning drupal and have designed a local community website.
It's been a bit of a learning curve, but now that I know what to do, it's easy.
Not one line of code was written by me.
Looks very nice, alastario. Caught my eye especially since my mailing address is Somerset, also. (Different one, obviously!
)
I checked the home page with the W3C Markup Validation Service. It came up with but 1 error. This is very, very good when you compare to most web-sites.
Congrats.
Really excellent Alastairo! Interesting about Drupal also.
Checked with w3c found the error - but I don't seem to be able to correct it.
It seems to be one of those errors where there seems to be an extra ", and if I take the offending image out, the next image has the problem. Needs a professional to have a look.
It is only ONE error and IMHO that makes it more tempting to go for the ZERO then when you had 50 or so.
It could be your fault, but also that of the tool. As I mentioned earlier I think it is a very good achievement both of the tool (which I recommend for this aspect without ever having used it) and of you.
BTW it looks nice also (but you may already have understood that that comes second for me
)
